Greetings. I came across your Facebook group and understand you do genealogical research and trace family trees for a reasonable price. Can you assist me please.

I need to trace my Colombian family roots back to Europe for purposes of establishing citizenship. My mother's family is from Cartagena Colommbia and the surrounding area in Bolivar district, (apellidos: SIERRA BOSSA). I can trace my line back to ca. 1880's, to my 4 great grandparents (VARGAS BOSSA, AVILA SIERRA). But I have not been able to find any earlier information via the limited online resources..

It seems obvious that we have roots back to Espana, but I've been told that BOSSA (may be mispelled form of BOSA) is *Italian* and rumors are that my grandfather is part Italian. I've also read family papers that suggest we may have emigrated from Portugal, but I can't confirm this.

Please let me now how you can help me and what you charge for your services.

The inscription on the ciborium reads (translated from English to Spanish)

Given by Pedro Ochoa de Priola, priest of Arriola, pray for his soul

Do you know anything about Pero Ochoa who was priest at Arriola in the early 16th century.

I've found he mentioned on the inscription of an early 16th-c century ciborium.

Many thanks

My great grandparents were Zamanillos from Spain. I am trying locate any information on the family name.

Great job you have done with your genealogy. I can trace my mom's Hernandez side back to the canary islands, since I still have cousins there, but no luck with Zamanillos on the mainland. They left to Cuba in the late 1800s and I'm not certain what region they were from.

Congratulations on your website.

I am looking for architectural images, details, documents, stories fit for a museum in the Perez Samanillo Building (now renamed as First United Building ), 413 Escolta Street, Manila.

These details can hopefully be used in restoration of some destroyed details.
